Hello,
Tonight we welcome Zac Goldsmith to Alternatives to speak on the topic of 'A Call To Action'.
In his first lecture at Alternatives, Zac will argue that the defining challenge of our time is to harmonise the economy with the environment. An economy that puts no value on the natural world cannot be sustained; an environmentalism that ignores the needs of people will be rejected.
The Conservative Party parliamentary candidate for Richmond Park and North Kingston, Zac was the editor of The Ecologist magazine for a decade and remains its director.
He is hotly tipped to be the next Conservative government's environmental minister.
You can find out more about tonight and book in advance HERE or you can pay on the door. The doors of St James's Church, 197 Piccadilly, open at 6.30pm tonight and the event runs from 7pm until 8.30pm.
For our future Monday evening events please see HERE.
Best wishes,
Esther, Richard & Steve

WEBSITE EXCLUSIVES
Hello,
At Alternatives HQ we're beavering away, finalising our next programme of events for you. However, in an internet exclusive, we've already making some events available for you to book in advance of the programme's paper publication.
On our talks page you can book now for the Q&A evening we're hosting with Lorna Byrne, author of international bestseller Angels In My Hair, who visits us on February 1 2010. We're also honoured to be hosting Richard Olivier (son of Sir Laurence), who is a renowned speaker on ethical leadership.
Forthcoming workshops will, we hope, delight you: Book now for the return of Joe Dispenza and Byron Katie, each giving a one-day workshop next summer, and for our first ever event with Bruce Lipton - world leading scientist speaking on 'the biology of belief'.
Book now to avoid disappointment as we expect these events to fill quickly once our next programme is published in early December...
Warmest wishes,
Esther, Richard & Steve
